Default Checklists save lives and money

This struck a note with me as to what happens when
people/pilots get out of sequence.

Also IMHO if one is interrupted in a checklist, they
must start from the begining again.

....which works best if you have enough fuel on board to extend your pattern
a little. :

In a glider it's even better if you include only the truly essential items
in your checklist, use a mnemonic to commit it to memory, and print it in
BIG letters on the panel/canopy frame, etc.

But my best advice is not to take your violin along in a sailplane.
