Any leads on getting new plexiglass for a Grob 103 TwinII Acro rear canopy.
Yesterday a club member had one come open and shatter in flight. The
frame is basically ok but they need the plexiglass. Any info on how anyone
else came up with a replacment canopy would be appreciated.

We worked with AZ Composites in Kingman AZ to replace our Grob 103 Twin II forward canopy.
We are currently working to get a new rear canopy on order. Germany company is slow to respond.

You might try Soaring Oxford (Grob Agents),Main Hangar Raf Syerston Site
Syerston Newark Nottinghamshire
NG23 5NG
0843 258 8576

They source all the spares for Grob Acros for the RAF, they will be able to
help you with a source if they do not have a blank in stock. With the
number of canopies the RAF break they are almost certain to hold one in
stock if your have someone who can fit a blank to the frame.

I have used many canopies (including Grob twin 2) made by Thermotec located in Grass Valley, Ca..............530-272-2556
