Default I really like this plane

At first this video almost looked like one of
those cheesy RC plane videos. But it isn't:

This guy really knows what he's doing. A friend
of mine is still waiting on his Icon A5, but now I
like these better. Especially the bi-wing.

Yes, but do you know how slow it is? 165 KPH cruise. Gack!

True. And that is also the objection that
is being voiced about the Icon A5, leaving some
to speculate that it won't ever meet production...
however, now Cirrus has partnered up with them
and things seem to be moving forward.

But yeah, the better amphibian choice that
you would really like is the SeaWind 3000. It
too is trying to make certification. They don't
make the kits anymore but they're still around.

Known as the "fastest kit-built you can land on
water more than once" this thing is *really*
awesome! Two have been converted to turbine,
of which one is in mint condition and the other is not
finished. The incomplete (turbine) one is for sale by
his wife as the gentleman has passed away.

The Seawind is out of my price range.
