Default seeking residential airpark in NJ

As far as I can tell, the only residential airpark in NJ is
Alexandria. But at Sun n' Fun in 2003, I was told that another was
being developed. So far, however, I haven't been able to find
anything on it. Does anyone know of other airparks in NJ?

I believe there are tentative plans (pipe dreams?) at Sky Manor, too.
Something I heard the other day.

America

Kent Linn, owner of Sky Manor, has plans to develop the area west of the
airport and extend the runway in that direction.

The problem is he's been talking about doing that for 10 years. Your
guess is as good as his when he'll be able to do it.

Its down in South Jersey. It's called Rudy's. You can buy the whole
thing for about 2.7 mil.

I don't want to buy the whole thing. just a house with a hangar (or
build one). where's Rudy's? I live in S. Jersey.

As for Sky Manor, would that extensino to the West be for a housing
development, too then? That's a great airport with a great
restaurant.

Consider leaving Jersey!

Sorry to be facetious but most of my flying time was out of NJ and I LOVE
NJ. Really.

But I feel like I fell into airport heaven down here in NC. Accidently
found an airpark where rent for residents is zero (still think that is
wrong). I built a hangar bigger than my house on 3300' of lit grass.
Private fuel, 12 fellow residents and 30+ hangar renters. We even have JetA
(!!)

So the stuff is out there it's just not in NJ (where all the work is ).

Good luck.

Yes, the plan reportedly involves development of an airpark. I'm not
sure how many homes he is planning or how big the lots are slated to be,
but if you're interested, call him and ask.

I intend to eventually get there, but I think it only fair that you tell people about
the personal property taxes in NC. From what I've heard, they can be stiff on an
aircraft owner. True?
