Default Fournier RF47 in the US?

Does anyone know of any examples of the Fournier RF47 registered and flying
in the US? It's supposed to be a JAR VLA bird, 2 seater, 119kt vne, 620kg
gross. Looks interesting, but I have only found Fournier motorgliders on the
registry, all experimental exhibition?

Juan, no luck on my search of the January 2006 registration database. A brief
search online shows one for sale in France, none registered in Great Britain,
and two web pages (date of last updates unknown...) that say, "will be put into
production one day."

Were they actually produced, or is that one for sale in France the only existing
example?

Sounds like "E.I.S. Aircraft GmbH" is the successor company to Sportavia-Putzer.
My database did show one RF-5 as "Experimental Amateur-Built" (N66GL), but
nothing outside of the experimental category.

OTOH, it appears another company was involved in the RF-47....

I haven't had much luck either. What I have been told is that the company
that was manufacturing the aircraft went out of business. I know the one for
sale in France, is that the one at 35,000 euros? The factory completed major
components and those were apparently dispersed when they went belly up. At
least one is alleged to be close to completion with a Rotax 912S and an
Airmaster constant speed prop. I keep finding comments that it is supposed
to be an excellent aircraft for flight training, but I guess that's from the
brochures...

I don't think SportAvia was doing, or planning to do anything with the
RF47.
