Default Dual Monitors - how to get started?

Help!

I have a new monitor so I'd like to try and see if I can fly FS9 with dual
monitors.

I plugged the old monitor (KDS) into the VGA output of my Radeon 9800 pro,
rebooted but the old monitor remains dark.

I go to ATI Catalyst Display settings and it does recognize that there is
another monitor but under "Scheme" I only have two choices: "Switch amongst
displays" and "Default Single Display." So I don't have both monitors
working at the same time. How do I get that to happen?

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Hi,

Have you tried extending your desktop:

1. Right-click your desktop and select Properties
2. Click the Settings tab
3. Click your second monitor icon (I guess this will be number 2)
4. Enable 'Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor'.

HTH

Regards,
