Default Ferry to Maple Flag

Hi all,

Our website has been updated again with an article about ferrying Dutch and
Danish F-16s to Cold Lake. Viewing KDC-10 operations via Goose Bay, Cold
Lake, Ottawa and Goose Bay again with lots of (air-to-air) pictures at
www.afterburner.nl/mapleflag02.htm

Best regards,

Fred and Maurice.

Not strictly naval aviation, but some nice photos there! Bet the pilots
were stiff after those couple of days! Out of curiosity, how long was the
flight from Goose Bay to Cold Lake?

Hi Tony,

The flight from Eindhoven (Netherlands) to Goose Bay was some 5 hours. There
we went overnight. We were only half way then! From Goose to Cold Lake it
took another 5 hours.

Cheers, Maurice.
