Default Apollo 820 GPS

Hello all,

Our old panel mounted (yes very old) Apollo 820 GPS by IIMorrow
appears to have kicked the can. When turned on it goes through it's
usual sequence but eventually emits a red warning along with the
message "GPS unable to compute position". There appears to be
reception of satellites indicated in another section of the menus. The
internal clock is precise (date and time). We are unable to to find
any reference to this outdated system. There is an obvious myriad of
solutions for improved (and cheap) replacement. Before discarding the
unit, has anyone encounterd the situation and was there some sort of
solution?

Regards

Marc Arsenault
