Default Any Pazmany PL-1/PL-2 owners out there...

Hello,

I am looking to correspond with anyone with some PL-1 or PL-2 building
or flying
experience. I have a completed PL-1 that needs some help and would
love to talk to anyone
who has experience with this plane.

Please feel free to send me an email off list.

Thanks!

A Air Force friend of mine was an advisor to the ROC Air Force in the
60-70's +/-. They were looking for a primary trainer and he suggested
the Pazmany so they bought a set of plans and evaluated.

He pointed out that they could also get some manufacturing experience
while building as trainers for their Air Force.

They built 58 (PL-1B) and somewhere in there he ended up with one
(maybe #59?) that he disassembled and shipped home when he rotated.
From all I know they (ROC) were happy with the bird as a trainer.

If I remember correctly????, my friend (whom I have lost track of)
modified his and put retracts on, some time after he got back to the
'big PX' G

Have you looked at some of the sites via Google? I found a number on
the bird searching for 'Pazmany Aircraft'.

The bird I knew abaut may never have gotten modified? Maybe all talk
and hope )

Go to 'FAA Aircraft Rgistrations' on Google and then search for "PL-1
and you will find 8 that are registered with owner.

Contact owners and ask the questions about yours.
