Was that a picture of a Venezuelan aircraft in the first
illustration?

The whole "less individual effort" thing does have the worrisome aura
of Soviet-era "ground control" to it though.

(Though the Brits used a version of that in the Battle of Britain and
did mor than OK with it!)

I like the "help fourth generation fighters" thing. The stealthy
planes knock off air defenses, radars, SAMs etc. enabling the other
fighters to get in and shake and bake.
