Default dg300 elan questions

Hi All

I currently fly a DG300 elan, built in '84, without winglets (s/n
3Exx)

According to wikipedia the elan-built has winglets and a different
airfoil (vs the original dg300). I can imagine back in the days the
winglets were an option, but I'd like to figure out if the ship I fly
has the new improved airfoil. (or is wiki false?)
Are there any other improvement over the original DG300?
Can someone provide me more details of the early years of DG300
production? (glaser dirks and elan)

Just out of curiosity, and happy flights,
Ruud
