April AZ soaring?
Just wondering if a guy was going to take a week or two at end of April for some early season soaring in AZ, 1) how is the soaring that time of year and 2)what would be the best place to fly (best potential for XC flights and a place that is friendly to private gliders, lodging nearby or bunk house at glider port).

April AZ soaring?
Jonathan,
Take a look at Moriarty today on XCSkies or Skysight.Â* The wind is howling, but it looks like strong thermals up to 15,000' and beyond.Â* Spring soaring is upon us! April AZ soaring?
Yes that is were Gary is and he will be providing tows. Come join us. We do this every year at this time. The Harquhala valley is very friendly landout options and moutains close by give good lift usually 8-10k AGL and 300-500k flights. May and June are typically AZ's best months but We typically have had very good flights in April!
