Agreed. I admire the wisdom of the FAA in making these
as endorsements instead of ratings.

And from what I've read, there are some good safety reasons
sometimes to take a tow instead of self-launching a motorglider.

So where in California does one go to learn "self-launch?"
Haven't seen any 2-seat rental motorgliders around...

Minden? Tahoe? Cal City?
