Someone gave me a Collins TDR-950L transponder in unknown condition.

Is it's age and reputation worth asking a shop to see if it is in
working order? = Mike

They were the standard Collins transponder. They still bring a decent
piece of change (~$900) on the used market. About the same as an old
KT-76A. If it has a chance of working, it's probably a pretty good gift.

Thanks Ron - how's the wind your way? - Mike

Just beginning to pick up now. Things seem to be moving a bit slower than forcast.
