Will gyro experience xfer to helocopter?

Howdy group,
I just got my private pilot certicate (for airplanes) last week and I'll
soon be starting on my gyrocopter certificate. (Actually I've already got
16 hours of dual logged in a gyro, and by next spring I plan to have a two
place gyro of my own.)
My question is this:
Will experience a gyrocopter transfer or help in learning to fly a
helicopter?
Or will it be a hindrance due to different learned reflexes?
I'd like to hear from those pilots who fly both gyros and helos.
