Yeah... about 150 of them. Didn't look at any of them when I saw they were all
posted by somebody going through life with his turn signal stuck.

You and I are lucky that our ISP's strip binaries off of posts.

However, 180 some identical posts (not the same thread) is a bit over the
top. :-(

Actually, it was a zip file that was split up into 182 messages, each 446KB
in length, so basically around 80M of crap that would flush a lot of text
messages out of the archive of many news servers if they didn't strip
binaries from their text newsgroups... Regardless of that, think of the poor
guy on dialup who downloads all his messages for viewing offline!

I only ever saw that single 1KB post - not 180.

Then probably your server or your preferences blocks binaries on
non-binary newsgroups.

I'm using too old a version of Cleanfeed - the damn server got all 182 of
them.
