Default Announcing WINNER of "Can you help Identify this airport" contest!

Thanks to all who took the time to look at my "mystery" airport photo.
Seems the only mystery was on my end. It took less than 12 hours from
posting for Paul Sisson of Litchfield Aerobatic Club to send in the
correct answer.

At least it's the correct answer in the opinion of several who emailed.
Additionally, after Paul and a few others pointed us in the right direction,
we were able to find a current aerial photo of this airport, which showed
many similarities. The comparison betrween the two airports was enough to
convince me that Paul Sisson and John Knopp and Robert Bonomi were all
correct.

Therefor according to the rules of our contest, Paul is the First Place
winner. We know he will enjoy his prize for many years to come.

If you missed the original post, and would like to try your hand at
identifying the airport, I won't reveal the answer here. Just go to
http://webpages.charter.net/divp/airport/index.htm.

The "answer" is there too. So, if you wish, you can see if you agree with
our distinguished panel of experts. Or... if you wish to disagree, we'll
consider any other evidence you may present.

Thanks again to all who made the effort to respond.

Hey! I HAD the answer but lost it when I dropped my wallet in a convenience
store! *I* am the rightful wiener or the prize!

I formally file a motion to withhold the awardment of the prize until the
rightful winner can be ascertained.

Jim,

You make a good point, you may very well be "...the rightful wiener ..."
Unfortunately, the contest rules specifically require "...the awardment of
the prize ..." take place at the waning of the first full moon following the
second Tuesday of the month immediately subsequent to the final
determination of the correct answer.

Now, if you can find just ONE loophole in these rules, the prize committee
will be honored to consider your appeal.

Unfortunately, now that Jim has lodged this preliminary objection to the
awardment of the prize, there will be no check.

Therefor, the prize committee will be awarding the alternate First Prize,
and using the proceeds of the check to call at meeting where we will discuss
ALL the possibilities. And... just possible consume some of Jay Honeck's
favorites.

Sorry, and thank you for playing!

Great discoveries are not announced with "Eureka!". What's usually

said is
"Hummmmm... That's interesting...."

Naw,

I'm not a big plonker. Only ONE guy lives in my digital rathole.

Okay, it's an obvious typo, but it's still a classic.
