This is the one the debunkers have the most trouble
with, true enough. Many witnesses, all credible, no camera
glitches, sufficient detail.

The Mexico City one (ufo 18) is also has has good
credibility. http://www.ufoevidence.org/cases/case864.htm

Well .... not really. That is a notorious rip-off site, and not very
credible overall. The video, after extensive analysis, was proven to be
digitally fabricated, using sophisticated video-game techniques and
algorithms. In fact, it was ufologist video-game aficionados who first
suggested that as the solution.

Well, as is said, "It only takes /one/!"

I remember reading about nearly identical
UFO sightings by Himilayans and Andean villagers,
describing the same craft at the same time that
also defied explanation back in the early 1970's,
IIRC.

I hadn't heard that. Makes you wonder about the
motives of such laborious fabricators. Throwing a
hubcap in the air and taking a picture is one thing,
but.........

The Himalayan sounds familiar, but the Andean one was good, photos of
multiple objects with excellent clarity. And then the entire valley and
all the witnesses perished in a large earthquake.

Yeah, rather annoying, especially the wasted time trying to prove the
fakery.

Here's an /excellent/ historical site that seems to cover everything. If
it's there, it's well-researched and very credible stuff:
