That's SAE; ie. automotive. If you see any of those in a certificated aircraft
in the U.S., you probably need to replace them.

Correct George!,
Please refer to AC 43.13-1B, Section 3 for aircraft bolts. The AC also
has a nice little section with hardware pictures so you can see what they
look like. You will also find turnbuckles washers, nuts, rivets OH MY!!!!!
More info than mere mortal man needs And you can get a copy from the FAA,
which printing it out is something, it is alot of stuff...or you can buy it
from "Gubment" publishing for somewhere in the vicinity of 75 bucks.
