I am contemplating a flight form Venice KVNC to Atlanta with a fuel stop at
KLCQ Lake City, or close to it depending on fuel prices.
Do not want to go into the big airport in Atlanta. Any one have comments on
airports near Atlanta within Taxi cab distance.
Thanks

Charlie Brown and Peachtree-Dekalb.

I childproofed my house, but they *still* get in.

I'd opt for Charlie Brown (FTY).....less busy and easier

Look at www.airnav.com for a comparison of the two fields. PDK is
very convienent to the North-East MARTA rail line which can take you
to a lot of places, especially in the downtown area. $1.85 one-way
fare anywhere on the system, including (shudder) a bus transfer.

Marta was $1.75 last time I rode it (about a month ago)

highly recomend PDK, close to downtown, marta access is just a mile from the
airport. FTY is not as busy, but it is a long way from downtown not to
mention, if you want to ride marta... you are in one of the worst parts of
town out that way (west of downtown).

The end of the East-West line isn't far away. Too far to walk, though.

yeah, not too far a walk through the ghetto.... plus there are all the
ghetto residents on the east-west line
