Thanks for the photo. The 'Biff' as they were known, is interesting, as it's one of the comparatively rare machines to be fitted with a 200hp Hispano-Suiza engine, rather than the standard Rolls-Royce Falcon. It was built at the National Aircraft Factory No 3, a plant at Aintree originally built by Cunard. 500 F2Bs were to be built there, in batch D2126-D2625, but only 126 were constructed before the contract was terminated in March 1919.


I'd say that the machine in the photo was at a Training Depot Station (a Flying School in later terminology) as the man in front of the aeroplane has the white cap band that identifies a Cadet pilot.
