Anyone know the trick of getting the last rubber “donut” and it’s keeper on on the MLG suspension on a PW6?

Doing the 6 year/1,000 hour mandatory items on our older PW6. Attempting to replace the rubber rings/donuts for the main landing gear suspension. How does one compress them enough to get the keeper pin in?

The factory provides no guidance in the maintenance manual. We’ve emailed them but no response.

Anyone know a mechanic who has done this maintenance event?

Please contact me at

Thanks, Tom
