Default Nano 4 GPS BAD/0 satellite reception

Is anyone else having problems getting GPS reception with the Nano4? I’ve tried everything I can think of...returned it to the factory, left it on to an open sky for long periods of time, multiple reboots, upgraded software. Still, more often than not “BAD/0”.

Quite frustrating!

How many GPS receivers are there in the cockpit? How close to this one? Is your fuselage carbon fibre (masks GPS signals)? Have you tried turning off your cellphone? Sounds like GPS interference to me.

Another possibility - are you using USB 12 to 5 volt converter in your glider? If yes, is it designed to have low noise? Many are very dirty, and the GPS signal is tiny at the antenna (millionth of a volt). Doesn't take much to hide it. Good converter is https://charge4.harkwood.co.uk/ . I don't have any financial interest...

This is still on a table in the backyard open to the sky on it’s own internal power source.
