DoD Identifies Air Force Casualty

The Department of Defense announced today the death of an airman who
was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Airman 1st Class Carl L. Anderson Jr., 21, of Georgetown, S.C., died
Aug. 29 as result of enemy action near Mosul, Iraq. He was assigned to
the 3rd Logistics Readiness Squadron, Elmendorf Air Force Base,
Alaska.
