Default CAI GPS-NAV model 10 display repairs in US

My display has a blank screen, but the logger and the on/off button on
the display are still working.

Anyone been able to get one back from repair recently?

Might also check the connections between the modular plug and wire. Had to
recrimp and/or replace several of mine. Acceptable quality crimpers and
plugs are available at Radio Trash.

You can use an ohm meter (or continuity tester) with sharp pointed test
probes, to check each connection from one end of cable to the other to see
if this is the problem.

Try checking the socket that the cable plugs into. These sometimes
come loose from the board and could cause the problem you have.
