MK17 bomb moved to Strategic Air Command monument site at former Carswell AFB
The largest thermonuclear bomb ever built has been placed at the SAC
monument site under construction at NAS Fort Worth JRB. This move brings the monument site near to completion with only bricklaying and one plaque remaining. I guess the Mk17 might have been a little too large for Slim Pickens to saddle for his ride to glory
