Are you allowed to climb up on the wings like that???? Make for some great

That is the beauty of the place. You don't have to climb up on the wings
(not that I would of course anyway, unless invited to by a staff member). My
Fuji has a pull out and angle viewing screen so you can hold it up above
your head at arms length and, having pulled the screen out, you can hold it
over the cockpit and still see what you are taking. Very, very handy at
times. Acts like a periscope somewhat. The museum of course allows you to
walk right up to the aeroplanes, no barriers. Fantastic. This is part of why
I am spouting superlatives about the place. I sound like an idiot I know,
going on about it, but it really is a brilliant place to visit and I cannot
say enough good about it and the ladies and gents, particularly the
volunteers, that I met there.
Cheers
Mike

My family and I stopped there (at my urging) but we could only stay about 3
hours. Uuurrg!

Needless to say, I plan a return trip, for two WHOLE days, without my
family, real soon. It is everything you say it is, and more than others can
imagine.
