Default Contact elements for ARC RT-356A X-ponder

Hi all!
We have an old but operational transponder in our Jodel D119 (SE-XED),
and we recently bought an altitude encoder to go with it. Problem is to
connect it. The transponder is an ARC RT-356A (old division of Cessna,
later sold to Raytheon, haven't a clue what happend to them after
that...) that is mounted in a bracket with a 23-pole AMP connector,
marked 1-582389-2. I beleive we have the information on how to connect
the encoder (see previous post), but we need more contact elements for
the AMP connector.

By the look of the existing contact, the contact elements are press-fit
female connectors, about 3.5 mm wide to go with the fingers coming out
of the transponder. I have located some here in Sweden, but at a
ridiculous price (10$ apiece!!!), and it seems the same item is
available at only slightly less cost in the US (7$ a piece), but I am
hoping that someone out there might be able to come up with something
at a little more reasonable cost. We need about 10 pieces.

I wonder how many spotted the typo in the posts above. Maybe that's why
nobody answered. Anyway, it's an ARC RT-359A and nothing else. We now
have the contact elements, allthough they cost an arm and a leg... It'l
be intresting to see if the old box will produce any useful altitude
info.
