IIRC, a Halogen bulb is suspectible to the same problems that a filament
bulb is. A Xenon light system is not.

Best case is LCDs and Xenon.

A Halogen IS a filament lamp. [GE Nela Park will tell you bulbs are
for tulips; they sell *lamps*...]

The halogen magic has to do with with gas in the envelope. See
the Wikipedia entry on same...

When refering to HID, what is the difference between Halogen and Xenon?

I had these on my Bo, and am waiting for an STC for the new bird.
