Boeing has been crunching the numbers on a plane that size since 1966.
It has never proven to be financially viable by their numbers. They may
well have been right all along.


That would be a first.

Why do you say that? Boeing has been very succesful in the commercial
industry. You don't get to be #1 by not understanding the market. The
success of their product line speaks volumes about their ability to crunch
the numbers correctly.
