Here is the latest on the May 15-16 fly-in at Wiarton. Chapter
President Brian Reis is the weather man at Wiarton and he is calling in
favours so that we may have good flying weather for the weekend.
Airport manager Doug Sykes is cutting us a deal on fuel for the weekend
- 100LL at $1.00 per litre including taxes, for payment by cash, debit,
or cheque. Our Wiarton chapter has worked hard to set up a good show
for all of us, and you can't afford to miss this weekend. Great food,
low-priced fuel, friendly airport management.
Dick Eaves' Sun N Fun-winning Nexus Mustang will be on display, and
Dick will give a seminar on his design. Brian Robinson will show his
SeaBee and present a seminar on his Corvette engine installation. There
is no admission charge for any of this. What more could a pilot-builder
want!
On Sunday we have combined a Transport and MDRA seminar into an
event that will qualify for your two year recurrency. Wayne Juniper's
seminar will be "Back to Basics - the Role of the Builder", and Jaime
Alexandre's will be "Preparing for your Inspection". Recurrency
stickers will be supplied for your pilot logbooks.

PS. We still need the loan of a Powerpoint projector for Saturday. If
you can bring one, please e-mail asap to

IT always amazes me that people forget location when they post a nice
activity such as this on the internet. This could be in Germany or Scotland
for all we know.
