For some of the same reasons some people build a 250mph airplane
instead of just buying one, when they have the money.

It's about solving problems, learning, and achieving something that
few people can, or will, do.

I can understand that, really, but that bike just isn't
practical in any way I can see. I know, I'd probably build
one myself but it's still a useless item.

I've seen 5.4L V8's on motorcycles. They don't even have to use a
transmission. Thing has plenty of torque in direct drive.

Well, see, John, the thing is, if you have to ask, you probably wouldn't
understand.

Inform us all of how your "Lite-Whitening" or whatever is coming along
latchless ass-wipe, before you go asking about someone else's
stuff......besides how you made it lighter by drilling all those
unneccessary holes and dirtying up the floor.

This is a reminder that just because something is experimental, doesn't mean
it's "good".
And if nothing else, it can serve as a bad example.

It's cool, it's an accomplishment... but it's very silly.
