What do ATC, EXP mean?

Hi, in http://www.sailplanedirectory.com/ndxtype.htm, I see the
notation "ATC" for some planes and some planes are described as EXP.
Help me out here

ATC- ?Type Certification (I presume the A was meant to be an S, for
Standard, and that is actually a typo...)

EXP- Experimental certification

More likely A for Approved, as in "approved Type Certificate."

STC is more commonly associated with Supplemental Type Certificate,
which approves the modification of an aircraft such that it no longer
conforms to the specifications of its original Type Certificate.
