Recertify/Reweb Seat Belts/Shoulder Harness
Hi, To my untrained eyes my original LS 4 belts look to be in excellent condition. However, they are way past their expiration date.
What do you guys usually do? Replace or Reweb, and if reweb where do you send them? Or just keep them as long as they look good? Thanks. |

Shouldn't be an issue if the TSO tags are still there. Peter |

Recertify/Reweb Seat Belts/Shoulder Harness
Hooker Harness did mine last year. Fast and reasonable, and it's worth a laugh to have a "Hooker Harness" tag on the belts.

C&M Marine Aviation Services redid my Discus 2b belts last year and did a great job with wonderful customer service.

I know getting a Hooker sounds like a laugh to us old buggers, but... How does the re-webbed old hardware compare to a new Schroth 4-point harness for $273.22 or a new 5-point for $289.90?
Delivery was in my experience about two weeks. Your down time between the old and new harness will be counted in minutes. Takata ask you to provide the Schroth part number. Takata in Florida: www.takataprotectionsystems.com Jim |
