This free online IGC file viewer has just had an upgrade. It now has ENL
detection, and improved flight analysis capabilitie, also configuration
options for reporting. Check it out at http://glidingweb.org.

The glidingweb.org website says it has "expired" and the domain name is available. Anyone know if igcwebview has moved to a new website? Or is it just no longer available?

Copy of messages from UK

Given the new charging regime for Google Maps this excellent
code could do with refactoring to use OpenStreetMaps.

Might get round to that in the New Year once the launch of
BGALadder.net is out of the way ;-)

Thanks, have looked at the program but for some of our less

computer
literate
members it may be off-putting. The IGC Viewer and companion

task setting
program was very useable even if these members were given

encouragement
of the flick around the ear to learn it!

Agreed - the tools at http://glidingweb.org are/were just the

right
combination of power and usability.

There's an older version of the IGC viewer available he

https://alistairmgreen.github.io/jsigc/

It doesn't show airspace or turn-points, but is otherwise quite

usable.
It's hosted in such a way that it should continue working for

some time.

The source code for the http://glidingweb.org tools (IGC viewer

an task
planner) seem to be available he

https://github.com/GlidingWeb

The authors are Alistair Malcolm Green and Richard Brisbourne.

Does anyone
have contact details for these gents? I'd be happy to help re-

host these
excellent tools on another web site.

Thanks (and Happy Christmas!),

Andrew Watson
