Grimes Model A Nav light repair

Greetings!

I have a '58 Champ undergoing a 'ground up' restoration after a serious
groundloop. One of the Nav lights was damaged when the wing tip scraped the
ground, and I'd like to repair it if possible. The lamp-holder is really the
only thing broken; the wires were torn out, and there's not enough left to
solder on new wires.

There are two of what appear to be pressed-in pins that hold the lamp socket
in the fixture. My thought is to drill them out, pull the lamp socket,
replace it, and drive in a couple of small, aluminum nails (or such). Does
this scenario seem doomed to fail, or does it, perhaps, have some merit?

Serviceable Model A lights are becoming both rare and expensive. There's a
tail-light on ebay right now, but mine can be cleaned up and returned for
another 45 years of service (I hope).

Alternatively, does any of you have a Model A light fixture for sale? The
lens and reflector are fine, so if all you have is the fixture and lamp
socket, I'm interested. Mine is the two-contact socket, by the way. I don't
know it there's a single contact Model A...

Ummm, nope. I didn't realize they were still in business. (Envision Homer
Simpson style palm-strike to forehead) Doh!

Of course, the next, obvious question: Contact them how? The old light has a
city & state on it - Ohio... hmmm, the city belongs in another state,
though. At least, Ohio isn't what comes to mind when I think of the city...

Did you check with Grimes? Last I checked they seemed to have quite a
selection of spare parts even if they don't have the entire assembly.
