Default F-15 Crash - help required

Dear Group Members,

Does anyone have any details of a two seat F-15 crash - I believe mid 1970s
when the pilot a Col. Jacobs and his rear seater - a flight surgeon both had to
eject at supersonic speed. Both ejected but did not survive?

Any help really appreciated

Dear Markovic, (sorry I do not have your name),

If I had seen the article on a recent news group I would not be asking.
I do try to keep an eye on the forum but do occasionally miss postings.

Regards

Mike,

He's confusing the F-15E ejection in which the WSO perished which is
discussed somewhere below this thread. I cannot recall seeing this F-15B
loss discussed in another thread of late.

Have you checked the Crowood-published Thornborough/March 2001 book on the
Eagle? It has a comprehensive list of losses and descriptions at the back,
but I don't have it here to hand. Sorry.

Dear Steve,

Thanks for clearing that up.

Only this weekend I picked up a copy of the Crowood Book - and yes I agree it
does have a good listing of "fates of aircraft"

Regards

Mike
