But let's say there had been a Hertz counter there. To save $85 on 40
gallons of gas, I would have had to put myself at least an hour's drive
in Dallas traffic from my destination, instead of the 10 minutes from
DAL--not to mention the time I would have spent fueling my airplane
myself. Kinda kills the time efficiency of using my own aircraft vs.
taking a commercial flight.

The nice thing about using Regal at DAL is the convenience. It is in a
great location and the staff is very efficient. All I had to do was
taxi up, sign for the rent car and go; Regal took care of everything
else. That saved me a lot of time and my time is worth money to me and
my business.

Dan,

I was thinking more of leaving DAL and getting your fuel prior to your
return home. We do have rental cars in town but I agree the cost/time
factor is not in your favor.
