Makes me wonder what the wake turbulence is on that wombat.

Maybe it can find additional roles in hurricane busting ;-)

how can that be? if its bigger than a 747 the wake would be bigger, so you
have no idea what you are talking about....

So it's a bad idea to cross behind a zeppelin then ? Contrary to popular
belief, size is not everything.

Sit down before you hurt yourself and leave engineering to us engineers.

Priceless!

Thanks for the big smile that crossed my face when I read it!

Well, I have to admit to being more than a little skeptical of that
claim myself, so I did some checking. And the numerous articles don't
exactly bear out the engineers' (or potentially the publicists') claims
too well.

This was the latest that I found:
http://www.aero-news.net/index.cfm?C...8c7-5848-404d-
bf97-76926d555827&

or

http://tinyurl.com/ym485x

Long story short: Less than initially feared, but a lot more than
claimed, and believed to be more than a 747 based on the spacing
recommendations .

If the Zepplin were travelling five times its maximum speed it would be!
