Default Trafalgar Square victory celebration, 1945

Trying to get some old photos captioned correctly and need help, as always.
The Mosquito XVI on display at the postwar celebration was parked in a manner
that makes ID impossible - I can't even tell if its a PR or a B (I feel its a
B). Does anyone know what is the serial number, squadron or other details
about this petty enigma of mine?

Thanks in advance.

A friend of mine, now deceased, was an RNZNAF pilot flying Mosquitos at the end
of the war. He told me he flew over London the evening after peace was
declared, and saw Trafalgar Square below. It's unlikey the aircraft in question
is his, but your query brought up this memory. I'd rung him on the anniversary
of the war's end in 1995, and he passed that story note on to me orally. He
also shot down a German aircraft very close to this time.

Was going to suggest trying www.mossie.org but you got there first

Figured I should give Neil and Mark and the gang a chance to answer as well -
who knows? Perhaps I'll get lucky.

I'd love to hear more - who was he, if you don't mind my asking? Still
working on my YAMB (yet another Mosquito book) and nightfightering is the main
crux of my research.
