I bought mine brand new (surplus) on ebay.
I've seen several on there since.

I bought a 2 channel balancer from Pro-Drive in Oklahoma that I like better
than the current Chadwick units. With one of my cyclic switches wired to
the unit I can run a vertical and lateral data collection on one flight with
just myself and no crew required. I believe the new price for the Pro-Drive
balancer is around $1900.
