Default USNA and NROTC...

I would just like to say that all of you have a right and are
encouraged to express your opinions.
But to all of you academy bashers out there, you should be ashamed of
yourselves. I was searching Google for USNA, and this is one of the
sites that it came up with. You may claim statistics, real or
otherwise, I am not the one to judge, but you fail to mention that some
of the finest men and women attend these schools, and that they deserve
better than to be criticized by the peanut gallery. USNA especially is
a pinnacle of duty, honor, and country. And some of these great
officers who graduate from the place will go off to fight for our
freedom. They recieve the best training in the world at these schools;
statistics and all. You say that these schools aren't "prestigious".
You only say that because it is easy for the lazy to sit back and
criticize the motivated. Why don't you take a crack at Academy life.
Then you can really judge whether or not it is "prestigious" enough for
you.
