Illustrated with b&w photos. Neat name on front endpaper. Cloth has light
wear at edges otherwise very good or better overall. Dust jacket has edge
tears and chipping on spine ends and is somewhat soiled on rear panel.
Overall, this remains a handsome copy. $25

London. Ian Allan, 1974. 1st edition. Pp 180. Index. Illustrated with
photographs. Small bruise on fore edge, otherwise a fine copy in a fne
(price clipped) dust jacket. A record of the early days of aerial warfare,
taken from the diaries of squadron leader Bartlett. $30

BISHOP, William Arthur. The Courage of the Early Morning: The Story of
Billy Bishop (A Son's Biography of a Famous Father). Toronto. McClelland &
Stewart, 1965. 1st edition. Pp xii, 211. Index. Illustrated with b&w
photos. Small, neat number on front endpaper, otherwise cloth is fine.
Dust jacket also has a small number at the head of the spine (from a
personal collection - not a library). As well, there are several small
tears and light rubbing at the edges. Overall, a clean, bright copy. The
story of Canada's, seemingly fearless, WWI ace. $20

edition. Pp 128. Illustrated with many b&w photgraphs. Cloth has a tiny

light wear at edges including two tiny tears and a tiny chip on rear
panel. A handsome copy overall. $25

overall. The author traces the history from the first ballooning signal
corps in 1907 to the manned flights to the moon. $20
