Default EAA Presentation

Our little soaring club here in South Georgia (Rose City Soaring
Association) had a great year. This was only our second full summer
of operation since the club was resurrected. We finally achieved
enough members (16) to buy liability insurance and had seven members
take check rides this summer. 2012 is the year we are going to double
our membership! As a means to that end I have given a presentation to
our local Rotary Club, Kiwanis Club and last night I was the program
at EAA 445 in Tallahassee, FL.

The EAA presentation was a great idea as you are guaranteed a room
full of aviation buffs. I now have a pretty polished slide show and
intend on making more presentations. I highly recommend any clubs
looking to expand explore this great way of publicizing your
operations. You are also guaranteed a free meal.

Congrats on your successes!
It's great to get the information out through the other clubs. You
might find a pilot that has not flown in years and something new is
all they need to bet back to flying!
