Dream Airplane poll

I read the Kitplanes discussion and thought that a poll of this group
would be interesting and more relevant. Perhaps in response to two

What airplane do you own?

What dream airplane would you like to build and/or own?

My vote on both questions is the correct choice, of course.

The Bowers Flybaby. Which, you all will surely agree, would win any
poll of well educated homebuilt airplane enthusiasts as the ultimate
dream plane.

1) None yet

2) full scale Sopwith Camel (Anyone know where I can find some good
construction drwings?)

Not an airplane at all,
Own a Westlan Gazelle helicopter; whouldn't have it any other way!

Actually the winters are fine for us Canadians and open cockpits. A
good Saturday night is roaring around on a snowmobile at midnight and
-30. A Flybaby during the day is downright palatial. It the hot moist
air from the US that makes summer flying a little uncomfortable.

However having slung a little bovine compost above, no canopy yet but
definately by next freezeup.

But.... Is it really a Flybaby, with a enclosed cockpit? Hum.

I suppose if you leave it open for first and last 10 minutes of the flight,
it would be hardcore enough to appease the open cockpit Gods... :-)
