Youth Programs at the SSA Convention

Here's a plug for the "College and Youth Soaring" booth, #46, next to M&H,
reserved by the Collegiate Soaring Association
(www.soarcsa.org/ssa/coll/home.htm) with the new US Junior Soaring
Association (www.juniorsoaring.us). "College", "Junior", and "Junior Team"
shirts will be for sale with tax-deductible donations gratefully accepted.
If you run a youth program, please feel free to drop off some literature.
In some areas, more detail can be pursued at other booths, such as US Team
(Junior Team management, 2005 Youth Development camp at Harris Hill), WSPA
etc.

Mark Keene will host a "Youth in Clubs" panel Fri. 10AM. Mark Maughmer will
speak on engineering education using sailplanes Sat. 2:30PM. The SSA -
Civil Air Patrol Committee hosts an open meeting Sat. 3:30PM. SSA
Affiliates and Divisons will confab Fri. 4:15PM. The closing banquet will
recognize 2 new Kolstad awardees and the Junior Champion.
