IFR Checkride Checklist
there is a nice checklist in front of the PTS
Charts for the area, IFR and VFR and approach plates and AFD All of your IFR library you can carry, but at least the FARs and the Instrument Training book you used. IFR Hood Current medical and pilot certificate Aircraft Logbooks extra headset aircraft checklist set up the approaches you plan to fly in a separate book in order, don't try to flip through the whole binder, AOPA has nice downloadable appch plates, can print to HUGE 8x10 for those of us who use reading glasses weather printouts for your planned cross country that you were asked to prepare, plus notams etc, plus wx and notams for the actual checkride area checkbook good luck "Jon Kraus" wrote in message ... I have my IFR checkride scheduled for Wednesday and I wanted to make sure I have everything I need. I remember when getting ready for my private checkride this group had some great suggestions on checklists that contained everything I'll need to make sure I am ready once I get to the airport. Does anyone have a checklist for taking the IFR checkride? Not the PTS but everything else. Thanks. Jon Kraus PP-ASEL Student-IA |
