The bottom layer (memory fading, feeling inadequate) I think useta be
a funky semi-rigid foam board. Mode of failure-turns to either powder
or mush, depending on the condition of your side winder seals ; )


Keeping ahead of mechanical stuff has always been the way-to-go.
Nuthin' wrong with making stuff as decent as your time/wallet allows.
