I wonder what he'd do if he got his hands on a Lynx.

Interesting flight attitude. I wonder what methods the A/C will use to
achieve level flight again?

Netko, you can have the right hand seat on this one.

Good Luck!

I'll take any seat in a Lynx as long as it stays on the ground. If
God had meant helicpters to fly, he'd have given them proper wings.

There are some nice videos on YouTube showing the Lynx going
through its paces.

Aerobatic flight test from 1988:

A display pair from the RN:

A solo display by a Dutch Navy machine (my favourite because of the
engine noise):

And finally, here's another Lynx with a bad attitude.

Well, that's not all THAT bad ... ninety degrees ... but your door
gunner better have his sissy straps locked on.

I once lost a perfectly good Rolleiflex 2.8f camera with porroprism, 220
back and combat grips because when my bird took an attitude like, that I
only had two hands and the camera wasn't properly secured. The Vietcong
most likely have that camera now, dern it. See there were these smoke
trails that looked like they were coming up to us and not the preferred
direction, which is AWAY from us.

Cheers,

Dave

I asked one of the Police Officers I fly with if we could do this the next
time we flew around the monuments in Washington Dc. He looked at the image
and said one word "NO!"
Something about stingers, freaking out the Secret Service, general populace,
air traffic controllers, and of course the future of their carreers. Mind
you I have been with them when they chase bad guys in the air and trust me
it gets pretty intense and they will do some pretty manuvers to capture the
bad guys. On at least one occasion I am convinced that the bad guys where
more scarred of the helicopter than they where of getting caught.
