Default Which sites for Refurbished/Used Garmin GPS?

Some time ago, someone posted a link to a company that
sells refurbished used Garmin GPS equipment.
I'm particularly interested in the Garmin 96C,
since it has both aviation and auto capabilities.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks,

Gary

www.jaair.com in Chicago area. They also do a first class job on
installations.

Gary,
I recently bought a 96C, and I had looked into finding a used one.
I think you'll find them pretty scarce.
A guy at one of the online stores told me they are so new that
they just aren't getting any used ones yet.
I finally just bought a new one. I think you'll find the price is
about the same everywhere...$699. So I tried to find a place
with cheap shipping, no sales tax (for my state) and a good return policy.
I can tell you that I'm very pleased with this unit for flying, I haven't
used it in a car yet.
Good Luck.

Thanks for the advice. I appreciate you taking the time to respond.

I'm interested because a friend has one is very happy with it -
especially for the money.
It also has PC tools that help him evaluate his flight, etc.
Neat!

The car aspect is also interesting since I live in the Balt/DC area,
and our in-car system has proved extrmely useful at twice the cost
of an aftermarket system (ha!).
